Noella has been president of the Riverina Local Council since 2017 and a member of 美姬社区since 2007. She presented at national conferences in Melbourne (2019, 2010), Perth (2018), Canberra (2015), Darwin (2014), Sydney (2011) and Hobart (2017 [as Keynote], 2008). Noella has also presented for 美姬社区local councils in Victoria, Queensland, NSW, ACT and Tasmania. She is well published, including in Australian Journal of Language and Literacy (4x) and Practical Literacy (4x). Noella is an Associate Professor at Charles Sturt University (adjunct) and an Independent Education Consultant working with school systems across Australia. Her passion is the teaching and learning of writing in the early years.
