Associate Professor Jessica Mantei is Deputy Head of the School of Education and a researcher of Language and Literacy in the Faculty of the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Jessica leads Early Start’s Play, Pedagogy and Curriculum Research Group and is an Associate Investigator in the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child. Jessica’s research interests include pedagogies for literacy learning, teacher professional identity, and the development of young children’s language and literacy proficiencies.
Jessica has served 美姬社区in local, state and national roles, currently as Co Editor of the Australian Journal of Language and Literacy.
